To combat DVR, GE embraced it.

Instead of lobbying against DVR, we created “GE One Second Theatre,” a commercial within a commercial I wrote. It could be seen only when the viewer paused and played it frame-by-frame. The novel concept was reviewed in Adweek and NY Times.
